class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This app helps travelers to or from the USA with the conversion of the most important units<br>for distance, weight, volume and temperature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When we rode our bikes from Mexico to the USA in early 2025, we were immediately confused by the different units.<br>We were delighted to see a sign saying \u201cKingsville 30\u201d and only later realized that we were talking about miles and that it was still almost 50 km to Kingsville!<br>At the hotel, the air conditioning showed 68 degrees and we had no idea what we had to set here to get to our 24 \u00b0Celius.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Of course you can find pages on the Internet for the conversions, but that is cumbersome.<br>An app would be better.<br>There are a whole bunch of conversion apps in the stores, but they are more for school and university.<br>They can convert every conceivable physical unit into every related unit.<br>However, they need several screens, menus, select boxes etc. to do this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The normal traveler does not need most of these conversions at all.<br>That&#8217;s why I wrote this little app myself, which helped us again and again during our stay in the USA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During development, particular emphasis was placed on simple and fast operation:<br><strong>Simply tap in the field with the unit to be converted and enter the value.<br>All the related units are converted and displayed immediately.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are no menus, no select boxes and only a single screen in this app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Of course, there is no advertising, no subscription, no in-app purchases and no personal data
