We are on the road. Exploring the world with our bicycles.
After our trip in 2009-2011, we already knew that this would not be the last time.

Back then with 2 dogs in the trailer. Now we do it again.
This time we have other challenges: Covid, crazy dictators and… our age.

More than 10 years have passed since our last big trip.
We do have a really mega desire to be on the road again. Maybe we’ll meet somewhere.
This page is about our cycling trip from Berlin once around the world. That's the plan.

Yes, we dare to do it again.
We start on April 30th, 2022 in Berlin and cycle from Oberschöneweide towards Müggelsee and then out of Berlin to Brandenburg. The original plan was a long trip through Russia, Mongolia to Asia.
Now we are taking the route through Poland, Slovakia to Romania. Our first destination. Others, like Georgia, Azerbaijan, Iran, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Thailand and then to Cambodia should follow. If everything works out, we will continue by ship to Australia, New Zealand, South and North America and back to Europe. But maybe it will come all different and we are back within the next 6months. we will do it again, no matter if it will be a trip of 6 months, 1 year, 2 or 3 years.
On this trip we have only one date: 2024 a total solar eclipse in Mexico.
